I have been doing a lot of writing lately and I was hoping to get out and goof off today but it looks like that may not happen. A major cold front is coming through central Florida today and the weatherman is predicting a lot of stormy weather. The news said that we can expect lots of rain, damaging hail, straight line winds up to 60 miles per hour, and even the possibility of a tornado. If things are as bad as the forecast calls for, we will just hunker down at home. We have a flexible schedule and can go out and play when the bad weather passes. If you are in this part of the country, I hope you are safe and comfortable.
Several blog readers contacted me when they read about our powered garage door screen in yesterday’s blog, asking where we bought it. A company called Skeet’r Beat’r, located in nearby Ormond Beach, sells and installs them. They come in a variety of colors and are custom-made to fit your needs. The guys who installed it took their time to get the job done right and we are very pleased with it.
As I said above, I’ve been doing a lot of writing the last few days and am well into my next book. And while I’ve been doing that, Miss Terry put a new project on her Baby Wolf loom and is weaving away. I think this is the first weaving she has done since we moved out of the motorhome the end of October. She said it feels good to be back throwing the shuttle.
Several people have asked if we are going to be at the Escapee RV Club’s Escapade rally in Tucson in March, and if I will be doing any of my seminars there. No, we don’t plan to head west that soon. But it’s going to be a great rally, and we’re going to miss seeing everybody there. If you’re anywhere in that part of the country, you really need to attend. There’s nothing like the friendliness and wealth of knowledge that you will find at Escapade. Going to any Escapees event is like going to a family reunion. And don’t worry if you’re a newbie to the Escapees or to the RV lifestyle, I guarantee they’re going to make you feel welcome and right at home.

Thought For The Day – We are born alone, we live alone, we die alone. Only through our love and friendship can we create the illusion for the moment that we’re not alone. – Orson Welles
