Merry Christmas

Terry and I want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas. Wherever you are this special day, I hope you are surrounded with love, joy, and happiness.

Terry and I are at the Orlando Thousand Trails preserve in Clermont, Florida, far from our relatives, but we’ll still be spending it with family; part of our huge extended family of RVers.

It has become a Christmas tradition for us to have Christmas dinner with Dave and Jean Damon at a Chinese buffet, and today we’ll also be joined by our dear friends Stu and Donna McNicol, who are stuck at an RV repair shop in Wildwood waiting for some work to be done on their fifth wheel.

Yesterday I received the news that we have a new family member. My son Travis e-mailed to let us know that he and his longtime lady, Geli, had gotten married. I haven’t met Geli, but we have talked on Facebook several times and I know that she is the best thing that has ever happened to Travis. Welcome to our family Geli, I wish you both a lifetime of love.

I’m going to make this a short blog post for a change, because you’ve all got more to do today than spend it at your computer. So go, be with your family and friends, open presents, eats lots of good food, have fun, and I’ll see you back here tomorrow.

Thought For The Day – We all have a little bit of insanity in us. Be sure to make the most of it.
